of Commerce

Barbara Augello was president of a company called Cape Cod Wellness when she went to her first "Hi" Tea. The popular event presented by the Women's Business Connection encourages Chamber members and their guests to get to know about each other's businesses. Along with plenty of time for informal conversation, there's a structured program that gives all participants the opportunity to introduce themselves and their businesses to everyone else sitting around a large table. Bring at least twenty or your business cards to a "Hi" Tea, and expect to leave with at least that many new business contacts.
One of the people Barbara met at the tea was Ann Pierce, a graphic designer and Creative Director of Piercing Communications.
Not long after the "Hi" Tea, Barbara gave Ann a call. She was planning to change the name of her company to something that more closely described her business, which provides CPR and First Aid training around New England. Renaming her company HealthEd of New England would mean she would need a new logo, new stationery, and yes, new business cards. Would Ann design them?
"Piercing Communications really keyed in to what we needed and came up with a wonderful design," Barbara says now. "The final product is something I am proud to be associated with."
Barbara is delighted with her company's new look. Ann is glad to have a happy client. And the story doesn't end there. The new logo for HealthEd of New England was selected as a winner in the American Graphic Design Awards and is being published in Graphic design USA magazine's annual awards edition! |
